Old Station Restaurant

Great food & atmosphere

Unique West Highland Railway Restaurant

‘Dine on the Line’ in the historic setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. This is where trainee Commando’s started their legendary training in the Second World War with a march from the Station to Castle Commando.

The line is also famous for its association with the Harry Potter movies, while the exclusive Royal Scotsman train stops on the platform outside our door overnight most Fridays in summer.

Relax beside the fire in our cosy bar, listen to some music & soak up the atmosphere of the Old Station.

Our Public Bar is open from 6pm until late. Relax beside the fire, listen to some music & soak up the atmosphere of the Old Station.

We have a fantastic range of bottled ales, malt whiskies and the largest selection of Scottish gins available in the village. Or, try one of our unique Pot-tails. Our very own quirky cocktails served in antique silver teapots.

During the summer months there is usually live music in the Bar at weekends after the Restaurant closes. Join in the jam with the ‘In-House Buskers’, or come and listen to them play!

We are the only bar in Spean Bridge serving local real ale on draught – our very own ‘Old Station Commando’ from Cairngorm Brewery.
