Great food & atmosphere

Unique West Highland Railway Restaurant

‘Dine on the Line’ in the historic setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. This is where trainee Commando’s started their legendary training in the Second World War with a march from the station to Castle Commando.

The line is also famous for its association with the Harry Potter movies, while the exclusive Royal Scotsman train stops on the platform outside our door overnight most Fridays in summer.

Relax beside the fire in our cosy bar & soak up the atmosphere of the Old Station.

We do not serve food in our wee Bar.  If you would like to dine with us, you will need to make a reservation for dinner in the Restaurant.

We are the only bar in Spean Bridge serving real ale on draught.  Old Station Commando brewed for us by Cairngorm Brewery.

Our good friends at the Glen Spean Brewing Co, Lochaber’s newest brewery, and based right here in the village supply our bottled beer.  We serve their tasty IPA and Blonde.
